WORKSHOPS Tearing Stuff Apart
Over the last few months I have been involved in running a project titled Tearing Stuff Apart, a collaboration between four artists/designers and four scientists. We have been working together to deliver a series of workshops to a community group on topics around consumption and climate change, bringing together an incredibly diverse group of people to dismantle and map toasters, collect pigments from post industrial parklands, grow algae from washing powders and measure the air quality outside McDonalds
Waldorf Project Chapter Three Spring 2015
IN THE FUTURE ALL FOOD WILL BE LIQUID. The Waldorf Project Chapter three presents a futuristic, immersive, eating experience in a tunnel near King's Cross. I have designed a collection of devices, implements and containers which re-imagine how we might present and consume these liquids.

One of the outcomes from our trip to the volcanic island of Stromboli has been a new collection of Well Proven Furniture incorporating minerals from the island. The pieces will be launching at Mint during the London Design Festival
HydroDipz for LDF 2014
A new collaboration with Nicholas Gardner, exploring the process of Hydrographic Transfer will be presented in a window exhibition at YourStudio, 54 Rivington Street in the heart of the Shoreditch triangle.
Plastic Baroque @ ARAM
The Aram Gallery invited me to take part in a show titled "Future Stars" launching during the London Design Festival, in this show I will be exhibiting a new collection from The Plastic Baroque series.
Marjan and I have just returned from a research trip to the volcanic island of Stromboli where we have spent a week peering into magma spurting crators and looking at rocks. The trip was kindly arranged and sponsored for us by the Fiorucci Trust.
Well Proven Stool at MOMA
We are extremely pleased and proud to announce that The Well Proven Stool has been acquired to become part of the permanent collection at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. The collection comprises some of the most important icons of design from around the world.
The Future Room at John Lewis
Last night saw the celebration of 150 years of John Lewis at their flagship store on Oxford Street, we were kindly invited to take part in an exhibition called 'The Future Room' which examines the future of design.
Well Proven Stool in Milan
Marjan and I are launching our new Well Proven Stool in Milan this week, the stool will be distributed through the Dutch Label Transnatural and will be on show with the rest of their collection in Lambrate. We have also been selected to take part in a show of work by RCA Alumni from the past 10 years which will be on display as a part of Salone Satelitte in the Fiera.

Ola Mirecka, Sasa Stucin and myself have just spent the last week taking a group of MA students from the RCA to jam factories, ancient monuments, salt marshes and cider presses. As well as this we have blown sugar glass built porridge towers and discussed the politics of mushrooms. Food Architecture.
Autumn 2013 ACROSS RCA FOOD ARCHITECTURE
Together with Sasa Stucin and Ola Mirecka we have spent a week running around the English countryside, visiting everyone from ancient cider brewers, jam makers, salt repositories, and ancient monuments in an attempt to explore the concept of 'Food Architecture'. RAES has returned from another exciting adventure please come to Gallop, Committee's Gallery/Shop, in Deptford to see the an Exhibition of the Expedition. Tom Gottelier and myself took fifteen Design Products students on a trip to the Merz Barn in the Langdale valley, where we explored ideas of urbanity versus rurality.

If you happen to be in Warsaw today, head over to the park to see "I Wish I Wish I Were A Fish" an installation produced by Ola Mirecka and myself with Fundacja Form i Ksztaltow.
I have just returned from a weeks camping in Terence Conran's garden where I have been Working with Marjan van Aubel I have been developing an exciting new material from waste wood. The project has been a collaboration between the RCA and the American Hardwood Export Council. We have also been helped along by Benchmark Furniture who kindly let us spend a week in their factory as well as craftsmen geniuses Sebastian Cox, Liam Treanor, Mike Bradley and Will Reed. The chairs produced during the project will be some of the first pieces of furniture subjected to Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) an important tool for measuring and comparing environmental impacts of manufactured goods.
